Sal in Cape Verde is the kite spot with side-onshore winds and small waves for beginners and intermediates. The conditions are world class for wave kiters, but not so good for beginners. The reason for this is that the water gets deep very quickly. If you can learn to kite in these conditions, you can kite anywhere! Before you fall feebly onto your board, there will be a well-balanced kiter's breakfast in your accommodation to keep you going.
