DATA COLLECTION ON OUR WEBSITE
CookiesOur website uses so-called cookies in part. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies help make our offering more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit ends. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you desire (e.g. shopping cart) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyze your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.
Server log filesThe provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
There is no merging of this data with other data sources.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures.
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected. The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Processing data (customer and contract data)We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content design or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our website (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it. The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
ANALYTICS TOOLS AND ADVERTISING
Google AnalyticsThis website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. Provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies.” These are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both the website and its advertising.
IP anonymizationWe have activated the IP anonymization feature on this website. This means your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide further services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
Browser pluginYou can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) by Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link.
Objecting to data collectionYou can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the collection of your data during future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics. More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in the Google privacy policy.
Data processing agreementWe have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographics with Google AnalyticsThis website uses the “Demographics” feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google as well as from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this feature at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as shown under “Objecting to data collection.”
Google Analytics RemarketingOur websites use the features of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. Provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This feature makes it possible to link the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing with the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC).
If you have given the corresponding consent, Google links your web and app browsing history to your Google account for this purpose. This means that the same personalized advertising messages can be displayed on any device on which you sign in with your Google account. To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target groups for cross-device advertising. These cookies expire after 180 days and are not used to personally identify users. You can permanently opt out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalized advertising in your Google account; follow this link. The consolidation of collected data in your Google account is based solely on your consent, which you can give to and withdraw from Google (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). For data collection processes that are not merged in your Google account (e.g. because you do not have a Google account or have objected to the merge), data collection is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the website operator’s interest in the anonymized analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
Further information and the privacy policy can be found in the Google privacy policy.
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). As part of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. If you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser places on the user’s computer. These cookies expire after 90 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across AdWords customers’ websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users. If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser’s user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of “conversion cookies” is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both the website and its advertising.
More information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in the Google privacy policy.
You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Facebook PixelOur website uses the Facebook visitor action pixel for conversion measurement, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). This allows the behavior of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized. The collected data is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Use Policy. This allows Facebook to place ads on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. We as the site operator cannot influence this use of the data.
For more information, please see Facebook’s notes on protecting your privacy.
You can also deactivate the “Custom Audiences” remarketing function in the Ad Settings section. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke the consent given for the storage of the data, the email address and their use to send the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide to receive the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted after you cancel the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members’ area) remain unaffected.
