Kitesurfing in Dakhla and everything you need to know about the kitesurfing spots around Dakhla:
With its mild year-round temperatures and reliable winds, the Dakhla Lagoon is a true paradise for kitesurfers. We discovered the northern, "small" lagoon of Dakhla more than nine years ago. We are starting the season with a newly renovated kite school with Core and North kite equipment and a new partner hotel.
The vast lagoon with its butter-flat water is perfect for learning to kitesurf or practising freestyle tricks. The various kite spots offer plenty of space on the water for all skill levels. Of course, kite courses are also offered by certified and multilingual instructors – whether for beginners, advanced riders or special courses, for example for freestyle kiters.
The result: a perfect kite destination for beginners, advanced riders and freestylers.
- Kite hotel with lagoon view
- Current equipment from Core and North
- Plenty of space on the huge shallow water lagoon
- Other kitespots in the surrounding area
- Perfect conditions for beginners and freestylers
- Very high wind probability at a constant speed

The Dakhla Peninsula is world-renowned for its ideal conditions: daily sunshine, steady winds between 15 and 25 knots on over 300 days per year, a flat and shallow water on the lagoon side and amazing waves on the ocean side. Besides being a paradise for water sports, Dakhla is also a great place for travelers seeking wild landscapes and high quality seafood.Kitespots & Kiteschool
