The Algarve is one of the best kitesurfing destinations in Europe – and for good reason: the area around Lagos and Alvor in particular offers ideal conditions for beginners and advanced surfers alike. The large flat water lagoon at Alvor offers waist-deep water, steady summer winds (Nortada) and a safe learning environment – perfect for beginners. Lessons are taught according to VDWS standards, in several languages and by highly qualified instructors.
