The spot in Matas Bay is unique for Fuerteventura. The area surrounding the spot is flatter, so the wind is more consistent and the spot itself is not dependent on the tide, so we can take advantage of every minute of wind. For a few meters there is a shallow area as you enter and then it gets deep. The wind comes side off-shore, which makes the water butter flat or smooth as glass! We have an excellent boat service for lessons as well as for free riders, this enables you to kite freely and, if needed, be brought back to your starting point.
