Further out, you’ll find waves with regular intervals allowing you time to line up the surf. It’s even perfect for wave beginners, and as the bay is curved, it's especially safe because you will always end up back on the sandy beach.
Halfway along the bay is our KiteWorldWide partner’s kitesurf centre, and launching here is great for kiters with a bit of experience wanting to practice in the waves. Complete beginners may experience some difficulties waterstarting at this spot due to the waves, but a little downwind there’s a river mouth with excellent conditions for freestyle. Essaouira has all the ingredients for a perfect kitesurfing vacation.
