KiteWorldWide Kite in Dakhla

Kitesurfing in Dakhla and everything you need to know about the kite spots around Dakhla:

Thanks to year-round mild temperatures and constant wind, Dakhla’s lagoon is a paradise for kitesurfers. Over nine years ago we discovered the northern “small” lagoon of Dakhla for ourselves. This season we’re launching a freshly renovated kite school with Core and North gear and a new partner hotel.

With the huge Dakhla lagoon, the kite spot is ideal to learn kitesurfing, build skills, and perfect freestyle tricks. The spots offer plenty of space on the water. Of course, we also offer kite courses taught by certified, multilingual instructors – for beginners, improvers, or special classes such as freestyle.

Dakhla also offers perfect conditions for wingfoiling – for both beginners and advanced riders. The smooth lagoon water and steady wind make starting much easier than at many other wing spots. We have wing gear for all levels.

The result: a perfect kite destination for beginners, intermediates, and freestylers.

What you get
  • Kite hotel with lagoon view
  • Current equipment from Core and North
  • Plenty of space on the huge shallow water lagoon
  • Other kitespots in the surrounding area
  • Perfect conditions for beginners and freestylers
  • Very high wind probability at a constant speed

EXCURSIONS TO THE NATURAL WONDER, SEBKHET IMLILY

South of Dakhla lies a true natural gem in the heart of the desert. Here, water flows along sandy and rocky paths. Sebkhet Imlily is a unique wetland in southern Morocco. In fact, you can see dozens of large holes stretching to the horizon. In contrast to the region’s dryness, these waters are rich in fish.

Camel riding

Ride through Dakhla’s desert and oasis landscapes on camelback; these animals have played a key role in the region’s nomadic cultures for centuries.

White Dune

A trip to the breathtaking White Dune, either as a downwinder or by 4x4, brings you closer to the Sahara desert feel and offers incredible panoramic views. It’s one of the peninsula’s best-known sights, a renowned kite spot for experienced kiters, and a great place to spot flamingos.
