KITESURFING ON FEHMARN

Kitespot & kiteschool

Fehmarn lies far north in the Baltic Sea and is easy to reach.

The main spot is Lemkenhafen, in the southwest of the sunny island. A huge flatwater area works best in westerly and southerly winds and offers ideal lesson conditions. Perfect for anyone wanting to learn kitesurfing on Fehmarn.

The beauty of an island: you can kite in any wind direction! North, east, south, or west—we’ll get you to Fehmarn’s best spots. Prefer some waves over flatwater? With proper wind we’ll hunt the best lines in Westermarkelsdorf, Altenteil, or Grüner Brink.

The key points at a glance:

  • Large shallow areas with smooth water
  • Baltic Sea waves in good wind
  • Consistent wind conditions
  • Kiteable in any wind direction
  • Great for beginners, improvers, and advanced riders

KITESCHOOL

The kite courses and the Kitehouse on Fehmarn are run by our long-standing partner Primesurf. Some of you may know the team from Sicily, South Africa, or Denmark. Expect professional coaching by a VDWS-licensed team with premium gear from Core Kiteboarding, Carved, and Duotone.

PRIMESURF KITEHOUSE FEHMARN

Fehmarn is Germany’s third-largest island and, thanks to wonderful beaches and landscapes, a favorite beyond watersports. The sunny island charms with small towns, villages, and loads of character.

Our kite courses and lessons start right from the waterside Primesurf Kitehouse Fehmarn. The freshly renovated, spacious house offers plenty of room and sits directly at the spot. From here we launch our kite lessons on the water with you! On Fehmarn we truly live our motto “from bed to board,” as the Beach House is only 100 meters from the water! Check wind and water from the window. Together we’ll enjoy great days, fun evenings, and successful kite sessions.

CATERING

The Kitehouse has a large, fully equipped kitchen-living room and an extra drinks fridge for cold refreshments on warm days! Stay totally flexible and eat what you want, when you want. The nearest supermarket is in Petersdorf, about five minutes by car.

Evenings we’ll often cook together or fire up the BBQ. Of course, that’s an option, not a must.
