Kite trips by kitesurfers for kitesurfers

Your kitesurf holiday with KiteWorldWide

You're planning your next kite trip and facing the key choice every journey hinges on: piece it all together yourself, or rely on a kitesurf specialist?

At first glance, DIY seems obvious. A kite spot is quickly googled, a flight swiftly booked, a beachfront hotel easily found. Yet every year many kiters face the same on‑site letdown: the wind is weaker than hoped, the lodging is half an hour from the spot, or the promised kite course isn’t offered in the booked language after all.

This is exactly where the difference shows between a stay at a kite spot and a true kite trip. It’s not about the hotel room, nor the nightly rate. It’s about who gets you to the spot, who truly knows the local conditions, who tells you when a destination doesn’t fit your level or travel dates — and who’s reachable if things go off plan along the way.

Summary

Quick question: Isn’t it enough to book everything yourself?

You’ve picked out a kite spot. Search flights, search hotel, somehow request a kite course on site — doable, right? It is. But there’s a difference between a vacation at a kite spot and a true kite trip. It’s not the hotel. It’s who gets you there, what awaits you on arrival — and whether you return knowing you got exactly what you paid for.

One point is often underestimated, yet proves decisive for many: On a kite trip with KiteWorldWide you don’t just travel to a spot — you step right into a kite community. For solo travelers: from the first session you’re part of the group, instead of standing alone on the beach trying to connect. For couples: you don’t have to choose between time for two and meeting other kiters — you can have both if you want. This community isn’t a side effect; it’s one of the main reasons many kiters travel with us again and again. When you plan it yourself, you carry the risk alone and decide based on reviews, photos, and wind stats you can’t truly gauge — we handle exactly that assessment for you, because we’ve known the spots for years and work with the locals.

We’ll explain what’s behind a KiteWorldWide kite trip and show in detail what it means for you: from our spot expertise and behind-the-scenes planning to the community that turns a trip into more than just a week by the water.

We know the spots. For real.

If you want to learn kitesurfing or, as an advanced rider, visit a new spot, the key question isn’t: Is there a good hotel? The key questions are: Is the wind right? What are the conditions? And does it fit your level?

Our destinations — from the flatwater lagoon in Dakhla, Morocco to Sicily, Italy and Tatajuba, Brazil — weren’t picked from a brochure. We go regularly ourselves, know wind stats, best seasons, a spot’s quirks, and which levels it suits. At our KWW Originals you’re not just a guest — you’re part of a kite camp we’ve built for years with local partners.

What you get from us: first-hand knowledge. We’re happy to advise which spot fits which season and level, and which matches your needs. And if you have questions — before, during, or after your trip — we’re there by phone and email.

We handle the planning for you.

Imagine piecing together your kite trip yourself: research flights, find a hotel, request a kite course, arrange transfers, sort gear, compare stays. It takes hours — sometimes days. And even then, you can’t be sure it all fits together.

With a KiteWorldWide kite trip, you get a suitable stay near the spot and access to licensed instructors. We work with partners we carefully vet and know personally. Prefer to book flights yourself? Go ahead. If you want help, we’ll arrange them — and if you’re bringing sports baggage, we’ll assist with adding it. Transfers and other elements can be added as needed.

You’re part of a community — not just a guest

Anyone can sell you a room. What you also get on a kite trip with KiteWorldWide is a group of people who share the same passion. No matter job, age, or background — at the spot, it’s all about the love of kiting.

By day you’re on the water together; in the evening you swap stories about progress, new spots, and the day’s best session. That’s the difference between a vacation spent alone and a kitesurf community trip where you arrive connected and leave with friends. This is especially true if you want to book a solo kite trip: from the first session you’re part of the group, not on your own.

Safety and service you can feel

A kite trip stands or falls with how well it’s organized when things don’t go to plan. Over 15 years as a tour operator means for you: quality and safety aren’t luck — they’re standard. From booking to return, we’re personally by your side.

If you have questions, our customer service is available Monday to Friday 10:00–18:00 and Saturday 10:00–13:00. With proper instruction, kitesurfing is a sport where solid courses significantly reduce risk — that’s why we consistently work with licensed schools.

At most KiteWorldWide destinations you’ll also have a German-speaking guide on site to help directly with questions or issues. If the wind drops, they can arrange spontaneous outings so your time at the spot never goes to waste. Throughout your trip you have a personal KiteWorldWide contact on site — not just an emergency number.

Licensed kite schools for every level

Whether you want to learn kitesurfing for the first time or, as a kitesurf beginner, build your first skills: at all our destinations you learn with licensed VDWS or IKO instructors. Teaching is in German and English depending on the spot, and our beginner course runs at least 5 days — enough time to go from first setup to first independent rides, instead of being overwhelmed in one afternoon.

Want to learn wingfoiling? At some spots — like Dakhla, Kos, and Rhodes — we offer it alongside kiting.

Who benefits most from a KiteWorldWide kite trip

A kitesurf package trip doesn’t just handle logistics — it also lowers the barrier where DIY is especially demanding. If you want a kitesurf vacation with course where stay, spot, and lessons match, that’s exactly our core business.

That applies, for example, to anyone starting fresh with kitesurfing over 40 who prefers learning in an experienced group, and to anyone who wants to book a solo kite trip yet still arrive connected.
