Your Kitespot for Fehmarn - Lemkenhafen

Fehmarn is the perfect place for anyone who wants to learn kiting—or already loves it and wants to try new things in ideal conditions!

In the southwest of the island you’ll find our Kitehouse, right at the kitespot in Lemkenhafen, where we also run our lessons.

Here you’ll find a huge standing area, glassy-flat water, and great wind in every direction. The spot offers a wide dike for setup and plenty of space on the water. Both beginners and advanced riders have the best opportunities here to learn kiting or push their progress.

The best thing about an island: you can kite in any wind direction! North, east, south, or west—we’ll take you to Fehmarn’s best spots. Prefer waves to flatwater? With solid wind, we’ll hunt down the best waves in Westermarkelsdorf, Altenteil, or Grüner Brink.

As you can see, Lemkenhafen is far from the only kitespot on Fehmarn! There are many more great spots like Gollendorf, Orth, Gold, and more if you’re after variety.
